I. Application Requirements

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, normally aged 18 and above (degree programs are not open to those over 30 years old) and in good health, holding valid passports and willing to abide by China’s laws and the university’s rules and regulations and show due respect to China’s social and cultural customs. Transfer students are also welcome if they meet the prerequisites for the related major. For Chinese degree programs, the students should have HSK4 or equivalent proof of the level. For English degree programs the students should have TOEFL (IBT) no less than 80 and with IELTS no less than 6.0.

III. Admission Procedures

1. Applicants download the Application Forms on website or claim it by email and submit to the College of International Education for application. The application fee is RMB500.

2. The university reviews the application materials. If the materials meet the requirements, an admission letter will be sent to the applicant by email. The process will normally take four weeks.

3. Those admitted will receive Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies and a JW202 Form by physical mail.

4. To apply for the visa, the applicants should take the above documents and the passport to local Chinese Embassy or Consulate.
