Football match between international students and Chinese students
When it came to 60 anniversary of Zhejiang International Studies University, there were various interesting celebration, hold by each college in the university. International students from College of International Education also joined this group.
International students and Chinese students from College of Science and Technology played the first international football match, which was scheduled on 23rd November.
After a short opening ceremony, football players warmed up at the football court before the match started. Even thought it actually was raining slightly on that day, players from each team were still excited and energetic. At the beginning, the international students kept kicking the ball while Chinese students took close-watch strategy. Players played really hard so the competition directly turned into more intense. Although it finally became a one-side game (4:0), the Chinese students’ sportsmanship did impressed internationals students. At the end of the match, players added that they hoped to do sports together again.
This friendly football match was not only a competition between Chinese and international students, but also strengthened their cultural exchanges and emotional communication.
